Possessed is an American death metal band, originally formed in 1983. Noted for their fast style of playing and Jeff Becerra's growled vocals, they are often called the first band in the death metal genre.[1] The band is also notable for featuring Larry LaLonde, who was the guitarist of Possessed during the mid-1980s, and went on to join Primus.
After breaking up in 1987, and briefly reforming from 1990 to 1993, the band reformed under original bassist and vocalist Jeff Becerra in 2007. To date, the band has released three studio albums, one live album, two compilation albums and two EPs.

A new black metal band is born. Nordjevel, which translated means "Northern Devil", was founded by frontman Doedsadmiral (Svartelder, Doedsvangr) and guitarist Nord (Fatal Impact, Tvangeste, Byrdi) earlier this year. The Norwegian duo was quickly joined by Sweden's Fredrik Widigs (Marduk) on drums. They have today revealed the details and artwork for their upcoming debut full-length album which will be released on Osmose Productions on the 29th of January. Titled Nordjevel, the nine-track album will be released in digipack and digital editions which will be followed by a vinyl version on a date as yet to be announced

NahemiA was born to worship and invigorate the black flame in its magnificence, spreading its ruthless opus among the scene through a resolute aggressive and dirty Black metal.
Its sound is a consequence of an old school Black Metal with dreadful anti-humanitarian concept expressed by lyrics and aesthetics, are addressed towards the possession of the masses .
Formed in 2013, the band released its debut demo “Anti-Human” in 2015 sharing its mankind-aversion propaganda among the black metal masses, and attracted increasing attention on NahemiA’s manifesto of hate and misery.
NahemiA returns with a highly anticipated single entitled “World Annihilation” from upcoming new Full-Length studio album. “World Annihilation” Single has been released through Misanthropic Assault Productions
